Derive Event Hire started in 2014 - It all started with one set of Jenga, Boccee and Ring Toss which was a package deal plus I had vintage props and Photobooth accessories with a dream to one day own a Photobooth! Having worked in the Medical Sales industry for 15 years, I was bored and unfulfilled with my career and was hoping for a change... I married my man Darcy in 2018 and in 2019 we welcomed our baby girl Cleo - and she is now the boss of course!
6 years on, with 2 Photobooths and one on the way PLUS the biggest range of games, props and backdrops in town , it’s safe to say that I have been able to take that big leap and become 100% Self employed doing something I love and a business I have built from the ground up. Starting with absolutely nothing and it’s been a pleasure watching it grow. Supplying entertainment for over 2000 events, for all age groups and demographics our Giant Games and Photobooth rental items have been throughly enjoyed by many
Derive has catered for organisations such as AUSPOST, BHP, ATCO Gas, Watercorp, BankWest and many venues such as Crown Towers, Brookleigh Estate, The Vines, Barrett Lane, Joondalup Resort, The Duxton, Perth Convention Centre, and a number of Schools in the Perth Metropolitan area.
Now it’s 2020 and we can’t wait to roll out a few niche hire items that are one off handmade originals, including a retro Photobooth that we are re-building by hand out of recycled material. Bring it on 🌟
